Maturity Challenge

As the title implied, today i was challenged once again on the word mature. Quoting from Merriam-Webster Dictionary mature came from Latin maturus which means ripe, meaning having completed natural growth and development, both mentally and physically I think. Apparently for the physical form there are certain age limitation and of course the genes factors. As for the mental form, knowledge makes someone knowledgeable. Does knowing alot means that a person is matured? Wisdom makes someone wise but is that matured?

Then tell me who define who is matured? Who sets the rules and guidelines and why wasn't I handed a copy of that? Shouldn't everyone be given a rule book like that? Then again judging people to be matured or not is like wanting total power domination. Who put you in charged? Do you mean that by doing something you don't like I am immatured? Apparently that works pretty well with others, so in this case does democracy counts? Or is it that an unique minority is considered to be the higher class? Then that is not being matured, that just being special or unique.

Then again flaring up at every single things in life equates to being temperamental. Hold grudges is being petty. Reluctant to change is stubborn. And also taking life for granted is just that. If all this adds up to be immature maybe I can agree. Where can you find such a person that has all those traits? (Ans: That's me, it all comes in a package, have to take the good and the bad...wait...there's no good at all...hmmm)
